A collaboration portal for a Middle East dental lab and the dentists they serve — where every aligner, crown and bridge is tracked tooth-by-tooth, from impression to final fit.
A collaboration portal for a Middle-East dental lab and the hundreds of dentists they serve — covering aligners, crowns, implants, bridges, veneers, retainers and nightguards in a single shared workspace.
The entire operation used to run on phone calls, WhatsApp threads and paper job sheets. Deutsche Portal replaces all of it — one place where the lab and the dentist work the same patient case from impression to final fit.
An aligner case is a multi-month treatment — ten to fifteen steps, each one moving specific teeth — and the lab was coordinating all of it across hundreds of dentists with no shared system.
When a tooth wasn't tracking, fixing it meant a phone call, a voice note and a guess at which step to update. Past-due cases slipped because no one could see the full backlog. Dentists never knew where their cases stood.
One shared timeline per patient. The lab gets an operations cockpit; the dentist gets a clean order experience — and both look at the same order, all the way through.
Every order moves through explicit states — Treatment Details → 3D Design → Presentation → Production → Shipment → Completed — with a real-time dentist conversation and a separate internal lab thread on the same case. For aligners, dentists can request tooth-level alterations that land directly on the right step in the lab's queue.
Led the design team end to end — from running the client and dentist interviews to handing the build over to engineering.
A deliberate four-stage process: research, structure, design, ship.
Client kickoffs, one-on-one dentist interviews, and shadowing the lab floor. The per-tooth alteration requirement surfaced here.
Translated interview notes into core flows and greyscale proofs, then walked dentists and lab operators back through them for feedback.
Built the visual system, applied it across every screen, and ran weekly clickable-prototype reviews with the client until sign-off.
Specced the design system for engineering and stayed on through QA until the shipped product matched what the dentists asked for.
Every part of the portal is built around the same shared order.
Past-due, due-today and backlog at a glance, plus revenue by service, top products, payments and dentist activations.
Treatment details, 3D design files, presentation approval, and a real-time dentist conversation alongside an internal lab thread.
In Progress, 3D Design, Do Over, In Shipment, Completed and Cancelled — straight from how the lab actually works.
New / existing clinic flows, dentist activations with per-service pricing, and a clinic page with active orders, payouts and transactions.
A walk through the portal — dashboard, the order detail with the lab ↔ dentist conversation, the production queue, and the onboarding flows.
